Here at DJ Dent Entertainment we have a real passion for what we do, from weddings to corporate events, birthdays to beach parties, our aim is to provide you with top quality entertainment to make your event one to remember!

 

 

 

My passion for music started from an early age, however my first experience of DJing was back in 2008, when I stepped in to help out at a local school after it had been let down by a professional DJ. The thrill of entertaining that first crowd, however small, got me hooked – I loved it! I started off with very basic gear, old stereo equipment and a mirror ball. Over time I was able to invest in modern sound and lighting equipment and then things really started to take off.

In 2013, I was awarded by York Press as ‘Fledgling Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the annual Business awards for the success of the venture (DJ Dent Disco Services).

The business has now provided entertainment all over the Yorkshire region for Weddings, Private parties, Corporate events, Sports events, Charity events, Restaurants, Bars and Nightclubs.

In 2015, DJ Dent went international. Performing in Bars, Nightclubs and Pool parties in resorts across Turkey.

Following a tricky few years for the entertainments industry, the dance was back with a BANG! October 2021 saw me as a Grand Finalist in the prestigious Fibre DJ Competition.

As we make up for lost time on the dance floor, events over the last year have taken the business across Europe and the four corners of the UK.
